Autism Support Network

You are invited to join us for our 2026 Charity Challenge on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Hawthorne Rotary Park in Surrey. We are an official charity in the Vancouver Half Marathon (5k and 1k) Charity Challenge, participating "remotely".

Please note, Hawthorne is a beautiful place but with very limited parking. Carpooling is recommended.

Enjoy a sunny day in the local park supporting our local Autism community while raising funds for charity. Our runners are people diagnosed with Autism, or those closest to them (siblings, parents, support staff).

Runners under 12 will do our 1k loop, and those 12+ will run 5k.

Our goal is to celebrate the achievements of our community while continuing to raise funds to continue providing information, education and support to families across BC for free.

This location offers directly adjacent public washrooms, water park and playground - perfect for young families.

11:00am - Registration
11:15am - 5k runners start
11:45am - 1k runners start
12:15pm - Team photo, Medals and prizes!

Here's How You Can Be Involved:

• Register to run in the official Vancouver Half Marathon: You can choose to sign up as a runner only, or you can also fundraise for the Autism Support Network.  You can create your own fundraising team as well or join an existing fundraising team.  You can run in Vancouver at the official event, run virtually in your neighbourhood or join the ASN Club Fit event at Hawthorne Rotary park.
• FUNDRAISE WITH OUR TEAM: Our amazing team is made up of autistic people and their supporters.  Participants can run in their own neighbourhood or join the ASN Charity Challenge event at Hawthorne Rotary Park. We will help you design your profile page and all you have to do is share it with friends and family.  All funds raised go directly to the ASN.

• VOLUNTEER!!  We need volunteers on June 14 at Hawthorne Rotary Park to assist with our special ASN Club Fit event.  
• DONATE: Last year, the Autism Support Network won a $1,500 prize for being a top fundraising team.  You can help us achieve that again!!  Click on the link below and choose one of our ASN Club Fit team participants to make your donation. Every penny of your donation goes to the Autism Support Network and you will receive a tax receipt.
